• Seminar ‘ALM – The Future of Private Wealth Management?’
  EDHEC Risk Management Center and ORTEC Finance organized a seminar on the topic “ALM in Private Wealth Management” on the 17 of June in Geneva and 18 of June in Zurich The purpose of the conference was to present the first year’s results of the academic research on the use of ALM methodology in PWM.
• Local Government Pension Institution LGPI licenses ALM solution from Ortec Finance
  LGPI, the pension institution for local governments in Finland, has signed an agreement with Ortec Finance to license its Asset Liability solution for pension plans, Ortec Finance PALM. The ALM solution enables LGPI to formulate ALM strategies based on Ortec Finance state of the art scenario generation, asset and liability methodologies.
• Dr. Marc K. Francke appointed professor of Real Estate Valuation at the UvA
  Dr. Marc K. Francke has been appointed professor of Real Estate Valuation at the University of Amsterdam's (UvA) Faculty of Economics and Business. Marc founded OrtaX in 2001, a company that specialises in the mass-valuation of real estate for clients such as municipalities and housing corporations.
• Hospitals of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP) licences ALM solution from ORTEC Finance
  HOOPP, one of the largest defined benefit pension plans in Canada, has signed an agreement with ORTEC Finance to license and implement their Asset Liability solution for pension plans (PALM). The ALM solution enables HOOPP to conduct risk/return analyses for the entirety of the pension plan. These analyses will support decision making concerning strategic investment policies and other policy instruments taking the dynamics of the pension liabilities explicitly into account. The selection of Ortec PALM was made after a thorough search and evaluation process.
• Performance analysis of Allianz investments to be calculated with ORTEC Finance’s performance solution.
  IDS GmbH – Analysis and Reporting Services (IDS), the analysis and reporting services company of Allianz SE, has signed an agreement to license and implement ORTEC’s performance evaluation & attribution system (PEARL). The decision of IDS was made after a thorough selection process. With the implementation of PEARL, IDS will phase out its current performance attribution system and also enhance their analysis and reporting service.
