CheckMijnPensioen.nl awarded communication prize
At the tenth annual pension symposium organised by Pensioen, Bestuur & Management, ORTEC received the award for “excellent communication by a commercial provider in the pension market”. “ORTEC developed an innovative and convenient pension planner, www.CheckMijnPensioen.nl, that not only combines the pension overviews of the participants, but also takes the entire family income into consideration”, according to the report of the jury.
ORTEC Focus on Switzerland
During 2007 ORTEC took the initial steps in a determined strategy to expand its services to the Swiss institutional investor market. The approach included the creation of specific methodologies and models, particularly a detailed modeling of the liabilities reflecting local Swiss regulations.
In 2008 ORTEC will continue to strengthen its presence in Switzerland from its new office in Pfäffikon.
Guus Boender wins NPN Award
On November 1st, 2007 the third annual NPN Awards were handed out during a festive gala at Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky in Amsterdam. Dozens of pension funds, both big and small, took the time and energy to impress the NPN jury with their best practices this year. Guus Boender, currently on the Supervisory Board of ORTEC International, took home the most prestigious award of the night.

ORTEC experts regularly publish articles and working papers in a wide variety of financial publications. ORTEC’s view and solutions are also covered in various newspapers, financial magazines and journals. By doing so, we give our reaction to developments in the dynamic areas we are active in. Apart from that, we keep our clients regularly informed about the developments within our innovative solutions and developments within ORTEC itself.

Working papers

The ORTEC Centre for Financial Research (OCFR) aims to be the linking pin between ORTEC Finance and the (scientific) research community. Through the OCFR innovative, high-quality scientific research with a strong practical focus is performed. The results are used for the development of the models and solutions of ORTEC Finance. The research results are mainly documented in the OCFR Working Paper series.
