This week http://www.checkmijnpensioen.nl/ was successfully introduced online. The free pension planner on this website, created by ORTEC, gives the visitor a clear indication of the family income before and after retirement. It not only shows the
pension of the individual, but of the partner as well; and besides displaying the pension with current and previous employers, it also includes projected payments through the Dutch national Old Age Pensions Act (AOW). Go to http://www.checkmijnpensioen.nl/ for insight into your pension!
On the independent website the consumer is able to look at his or her pension future entirely free of charge. The website is based upon the Uniform Pension Review, which has become mandatory in 2008 and must be provided annually to all active participants in a pension fund. All the necessary data you are being asked to enter into the pension planner can be found in this yearly overview.
In a very unique manner, visitors to CheckMijnPensioen.nl are explained the different consequences of specific variations to their pension. Audiovisual means play an important role in this process.
The website renders a total family income pre- and post-retirement. It concerns both the income of the individual and, if applicable, that of the partner as well, broken down into:
- the salary
- the payments through the Dutch national Old Age Pensions Act (AOW)
- the supplementary pensions, in which not only the current, active build-up is viewed, but also the possible premium-exempted pensions with previous employers.
The refinement of this breakdown can be autonomously determined by the consumer. All pension payments displayed in the Uniform Pension Review are gross amounts, so before taxes and social security payments are subtracted. To get some idea of the effect of taxation and social premiums, a gross-net overview will be added on in the second quarter of this year.
