OrtaX – a partner of ORTEC Finance – is a young and ambitious organisation specialised for the application of econometric / statistical models for the mass appraisals of real estate. The client base of OrtaX consists primarily of local governments, appraisal firms and housing corporations. Annually, over one million residencies and business and office properties in the Netherlands are appraised with using our software.
Job Description
As Business Specialist, you advise clients on the use of statistical valuation models in large-scale reappraisals. You will implement the OrtaX Calculator at municipal organisations and give advice about the optimal use of it. You will facilitate trainings and manage both internal as external schedules. Moreover, you communicate with clients about their specific wishes and transform these into new functionality for the OrtaX Calculator.
Education & Experience
A study with a heavy quantitative component, and minimally at the college level (HBO), for example, Mathematics or Real Estate and Brokerage. Several years of experience with model-based appraisals within the framework of the WOZ Act.
Skills
It is imperative that you are interested in the real estate market and that you are familiar with the organisation of the municipal sector. Preferably you have some experience with model-based appraisals of real estate in the world of WOZ. Some affinity with ICT solutions is of importance. You are client-oriented, flexible, analytically strong and a skilled communicator. Moreover, you possess a persuasive strength, are a team player and take good care that the agreements made with the client are being closely observed.
