London, 21 September 2011 -- Andrew Caird has joined Ortec Finance as Head of Investment Performance, UK. The division supports asset managers and asset owners with performance, risk and attribution services including bespoke reporting, data management, and web solutions.

Based in London, Caird joins from the Summit Investor Services Limited, an analytics and compliance monitoring software firm he founded in 2008. His responsibilities include new business, account management and providing a UK perspective into product development. Caird brings with him Summit’s experience in security level analytics and due diligence.

These include experience in building a business, software development, expertise in the analytics field and an in-depth knowledge of the institutional markets. Ortec Finance’s Investment Performance team provides services to the asset management community. It also combines with the Asset Liability Management team to offer pension funds a fully fledged management solution which facilitates greater operational efficiency and improved governance.
